Talking Helps
« on: March 17, 2016, 01:17:38 PM »
Had a visit from my friend today who has lost both her parents. We have been friends for over 40 years and I never truly understood her grief till I lost my own Mum. It was nice to be honest about thoughts and feelings that I do not share with my family as I do not wish to hurt or worry them.
Taking it one day at a time.

Hello Redeemed and welcome.

No one can ever understand the true pain of bereavement like you said  until it happens to yourself. It's lovely you shared each others pain and knew how much each of you were hurting, plus could talk openly and not have to hold back which doesn't help the healing process.

That's the good thing about this forum you can release all those pent up emotions and know it is listened to by those who understand.

May I offer you my sincere condolences for the loss of your Mum, boy do I know how much that hurts.
Take care and please keep posting however small or large you can manage, we need them.
