:hug This early on you are probably in a state of shock The grief journey is long and confusing but at this stage the only way is to try not to focus on the future that now looms ahead empty, just getting through each day is enough,and be kind too yourself.talking on here does help,just writing thoughts helps too because in writing in a way that can be coherent too others helps get your own thoughts straight,None of us are professional counsellors but all of us were brought here,sadly by being bereaved . No ones journey is the same but so much of it is similar and we will be here as long as you need us to be.
