My Mum

My Mum passed away 3 weeks ago.  I've been in organisation mode until now, but this weekend it has really hit me and I literally cannot stop crying.  I've lost both my parents now and I just feel emotionally lost, as if my anchors have gone.

Welcome to the forum Lovecat. Sorry to hear of your loss.

I think all of us know how horrible it is when the numbness of the first few weeks wears off and the reality of our loss hits us.

Yes the numbness, which I think is put there to help us over the first few weeks, does wear off and brand new emotions kick in. Hopefully we can support you through it all. I remember when I lost both my parents I suddenly felt like a grown up orphan.
