Hi
« on: September 25, 2016, 02:12:43 PM »
Hi my name is Charlotte, I am 27 and my husband took his own life just over 2 months ago leaving me and our 2 year old daughter behind. We had been together just over 5 years.

Having good days and not so good days.

Feel like some days I am being over whelmed by support and others like I am all alone in the world.

Hello Charlotte. So young and so raw for you, I really feel for you. I'm glad you've found here because we all just understand whereas people who haven't gone through it don't always understand.

Hello Charlotte, welcome. Here's hoping that the forum provides you with some comfort. I know just what you mean about feeling overwhelmed by support. I've been know to say to people, "It's been lovely to see you but I need to be on my own now. I do find it very lonely sometimes so don't stop coming" and I find that people understand. It's a time when you need to do and say what is right for you
I'll never get over losing her and I used to think that eventually
I would learn to live with it - that's not happened yet.

Hi Charlotte. Welcome to the forum.

Good days and bad days seem to be the norm. We just have to bear the bad days knowing there will be better days and enjoy those better days knowing there will be more bad days. As time goes by hopefully the majority of days will be better days.

Wishing you strength.
