Garlic - first time I can remember any mention of it was when my Dad started taking garlic pills which he had heard were virtually the elixir of life, fortunately they didn't create any aroma that I was aware of. Nowadays I can't imagine cooking without garlic and also ginger. They both go in everything that I cook in my slow cooker
.
"Did you get all your photos converted?" - Yes, just about, the count stands at slightly under 1,700 but there might still be an odd box or two in the loft that may never get done
. I rather ran out of steam. I don't get out a deal mostly because of health issues and I now recognise that I'm living proof of the old saying about use it or lose it
. On top of that, the 3rd anniversary of Chris' death in the same week that would have been our golden wedding anniversary a while ago left me feeling very low and the dark afternoons and evenings just make things worse. Mobility/stability probs prevent me from using my cameras and I've considered selling most of the stuff I've got but up to now I've held off with that.
I was looking at a list of birds that are becoming rare recently and was amazed to see Starlings amongst them. Perhaps the whole british population has come to live in my garden!! As fast as I put food out, flocks of them swoop down and hoover it up.
My mind's wandering now - think I'll go back to YT for some more Trumpton or even Camberwick Green
