HI 2 everyone
came across this forum today
i lost my dad very suddenly 3 weeks ago and the funeral is on thursday
i cried at first but as these weeks have gone by ive felt nothing, i feel so guilty for not feeling anything at the moment  :undecided:
i still hear your voice in my head
The hardest part is i will never hear it out loud again

Welcome Krystal, so sorry for the loss of your dad, don't feel guilty hun, the weeks up until the funeral are like living in limbo, we mostly see the funeral as closure, in terms of  it finally sinks in that our loved one isnt coming back. Dont be hatd on yourself take it one step at a time and keep talking to us im sure you will find it hels xxx

Welcome to the forum Krystal. So sorry to hear of your loss.

As Norma says the early days are often numbed by a sense of disbelief. We are also kept busy making arrangements and by the attention and support of others. After the funeral, when the visitors stop knocking and there is nothing to keep us occupied, is often when the enormity of our loss really hits home.
