I must admit that nobody looked or sounded like I thought they would.

Then again I have a weird imagination.

I was thinking in the morning how it made me look at people.I was stood at the front of the station wondering if anyone walking past was someone I was about to meet.Normally people pass and i dont notice there except the cheeky guy on crutches who cant use them and doesnt need them  and who doesnt ask for change but a fiver. Eventually I decide the lady outside the white rose cafe had been there a while and gathered some more people ,but mainly if I was wrong they all were smiley enough to not worry.

Well I have a reputation of being a Victor Meldrew....lol...the grandchildren nicknamed me grumpy granddad...so I hope I didnt come across as being too miserable...because Im really a big softie really. Though I didnt really want the honour of being the oldest there...lol

Hubby...as I was in the Leeds area I decided to take the A1 north but its much longer and slower so I arrived at the caravan at 7pm....though I did have 3 decent breaks on way up. It made a change to use a different route though.
Weather was brilliant all the way...so other than lots of roadworks the drive was good.  Quite tired so I should sleep tonight.   My daughter is coming up Friday and returning to Cornwall Monday evening.  She has a key so can make herself at home until I return next Saturday so I may drive back the 515 miles through the night which is what I did last time...in June...roads are nice n quiet so should be back Saturday AM.
She's coming up for that hospital meeting on the Monday.
They are supposed to be posting me a copy of their 5mth investigation report to me this week hopefully before the meeting so I can study it and any questions I have can also be raised at the meeting.

I drove all night -not sure he was so precise about the distance, but slightly creepy  "drove all night to get to you
Is that all right?I drove all night, crept in your room" -you'd think he might have asked first
