Sadly you are not alone and many here will recognize the feelings you describe. It seems impossible that life goes on as normal around you when this cataclysm has destroyed your own world as you know it. The shock of it takes time to recover from and grief takes time to learn to live with, so for now just take care of yourself. Remember to eat and drink enough, even if you don't feel like it, and just take it one day at a time for now. Do whatever helps. For me, that was writing down how I felt about the loss of my loved one, having flowers around to remind me there were still good things in the world and lift my spirits a little and walking in the park, which I found a calming place to sit and try to come to terms with all that had happened. If you can find what helps you a little, make use of that to help you. Getting out of the house does help. Sending strength.
