Pets certainly know how to get round their humans (I was going to say owners but I'm not sure who owns who
). Surprising how quickly things heal in the young of any species.
I've had flowers of one sort or another in the garden for most of the winter. A couple of shrubs flower on and off in particular some viburnums that I layered from a single plant years ago. I've got dozens of Hellebores that are self sets from two originals one white and one red. The red ones seem to be rarer than the white. Snowdrops are more or less finished now but the first of the daffs are already showing colour.
I sometimes fear that my photography days are over. Poor health makes things pretty difficult for me particularly the fact that I had a stroke some years back and although I got over it pretty well, I'm very unsteady on my pins. I had a fall on the stairs a while back and partially ruptured a ligament in my shoulder and holding my camera up is painful - hohum
.
I gave all my old gear away quite a long time ago. I did buy myself a new scanner a few weeks ago and I have been scanning all the old photos I've got of the family. It's been a real trip down memory lane, bitter sweet and more than once I've found myself looking at an old photo for minutes at a time wishing that I had got a time machine
.
Anyway tell Rory I hope he's alright and to try not to be frightened of that man in the white coat!!
