Title: Am I in the right place?

Hello all

I am a 33 year old man and I struggle with the loss of my mother when I was ten months old. I don’t know how much detail to put into this post and I am not sure if this is the right group as my bereavement was so long ago.

Please let me know if any of this isn’t appropriate.

Hi -sending you a warm welcome - you are not the first to come here with grief that has spilt over from childhood, there were not places like this to come back then and often not any kind of help in place at all for a child having such a devaststing thing happen. You are more than welcome to write here and we will support you any way we can,because there are similaritys in grief no matter what age we are or how long ago it started.

Thank you, am I correct in thinking that the bulk of my issues can be detailed in the next category down rather than in this one?
