My mother died yesterday and the thought of never speaking to her again is like a punch every few minutes. I live about 400 miles from her so our conversations were by phone when she wasnt staying with me. Its been a rocky relationship but we've always kept in touch and things happened a few weeks ago which cooled it but we got back on track with the calls and she was already planning our christmas together. I have so many regrets already and just cant believe thats the end.
