Title: New here - loss of younger sister
Post by: clairehelena on March 15, 2018, 03:51:34 PM
Hi there, first time I’ve ever been part of anything like this. Lost my little sister at the end of last year and I’m struggling to talk to those around me about how I feel, probably cos I don’t know myself a lot of the time. She died quite suddenly, I was with her which I’m so grateful for, but it hasn’t made it any easier to accept. I’m 32 and she was 22 when she died, it would have been her 23rd birthday last week which has been hard and probably what made me try something new to get support. I’m really here looking for some insights and help for myself and anything I can do to help my parents who are really struggling.

Sending a welcome hug

Its such a shock losing someone, and thats such a young age.  Being there at the time must have been hard.  Its a rollercoaster journey which takes some time but it does help to talk, I hope you find this site as supportive as I did. It really helped me xx
