Christmas has made me feel more alone and feelings of despair more pronounced. I just feel that each month this year i can mark it down as a new discovery on the grief journey and ill probably have more to come. This year has been an unwanted emotional journey.

It's been the same for me BT. I feel like I've been knocked back six months and there is still new year to go. Hopefully this hill will end soon and the journey become a little easier.

One of the things i find tough is,when a loved one passes the world still goes on,yet for you it freezes in time ,thats how i am,cant seem to move in any direction :( its like when you see on tv how someone walks slowly, but all around them everyone is at fast forward..its a strange feeling

I know exactly what you mean- I felt like that in the very beginning but it is starting to get better (7 months for me).

It will be 2 yrs for me January 28th :/ im dreading it :(

Anniversaries do bring about the dread but I find most have not been as bad as I imagined they would be. It's things I don't anticipate that catch me unaware and drag me down.
