Title: Loss of a friend
Post by: KathrynM on February 25, 2020, 04:01:21 PM
My friend died last month and now that the shock has worn off, I'm feeling really down and confused. I tried to call our EAP line at work, but I've realised I don't want counselling, I would just like to chat to other people who know how this feels.

Welcome too the forum. What you describe is normal our minds go into some kind of shock mode for a while then start to process what has happened ove a much longer time. I found writing helped - you have to get whats in your head into some kind of order when you write it down  and when you write here others will respond as Emz said we have all experienced this lost different people and different time scales but everyone cam empathise with what you are going through.

Hi Kathryn

What happened to your friend? Would you like to talk a bit more about it?
