Hi everyone,
Just introducing myself here, my name is Becca and I’m 25. My Dad passed away in December following an aortic aneurysm, he was only 54. We have just passed 6 months and I still don’t feel like I have processed his death. I have began doing things very out of character and I just feel pretty lost at the moment.
Everything has just been harder given the lockdown and I need a space where I can get things off my chest, thank you for reading.

Welcome Becca, so sorry to hear about your dad. It is always hard losing a parent and must be even worse to try to deal with it during the current situation. Six months is not very long in terms of recovery from such a huge blow, I'm afraid. Everyone here will understand how you are feeling. You are not alone here. Sending you a welcome hug.

It is certainly often a surprise that the bereavement journey can take so long and is a rollercoaster. Be gentle with yourself, take it a day at a time
