Hi I used to be a member of the older websites and thought I would look in the new one.  I lost a daughter and grand daughter  7 years ago , the anniversary of the funeral us this Sunday. I stayed on fir some tears and then was supported when my husband dued 2 years ago too. So here I am . Jeannette

What Jeanette hasn't mentioned and wouldn't dream of doing is how much she helped so many of us and what a wonderfully wise,patient and gentle lady she is .So I,m saying it for all of us you helped Jeanette,a big welcome to the new board      .

Thank you for welcome. Hopefully I will get used to the new layout. Hope I will be able to help others but in reality it is helping others which in the end helps me. Sometimes replying to someone actually clarifies and confirms thoughts you then apply to yourself .

I do seem to be in the doldrums lately , thought I would gave been accepting by now but this year  seems to have been hard. I remember reading in the old forum that the second year is hard and I think I did not believe it, nowi know it is true.

  i think its worse because as much as anything we expect it to be better and then are disapointed that it isnt, and it finally sinks in that this really is forever.

I am sorry you are not in best of health Jeanette,  afraid I can join you there.  Things just seem to keep going wrong and I find it increasingly difficult to cope alone.  Thank goodness for my friends here who keep me going.  I look forward to talking to you soon  xxx
