Congratulations Mike on that uplifting news,  you must be so pleased.  :hearts:

Mike, I hope you don't mind me asking... From the time of her diagnosis, when they found out about her stage 4 cancer,  what was the time period to your wife's sad passing. ?   AYK, by the time they diagnosed my wife's lung cancer she lasted 2 days,  I'm hoping you had more time.

Anyway....it's nice to hear good news on here for a change,  thanks for sharing that great news Mike, I have 5 grandchildren, but sadly I can count on one hand the number of times I see or hear from them a year, or indeed my own sons for that matter.  Especially since my wife passed away,  however my daughter is the opposite and phones almost daily....bless her..

A birth followed by a death is one of the most difficult things, because you want the time of a new life to be as happy as possible, though the raw pain of your wife passing is often unbearable.

You will gain strength though your granddaughter.
