This site is here to support you no matter where in the world you come from.

Bereavement is indeed one of the most painful emotions the human body has to deal with during our lifetime.

So this site was created to be a lifeline to help you, especially after the initial support drops off. The phone rings less and less, and people call to see us less frequently. Daily life and living takes over and we now feel totally lost and very alone.

This is where BereavementUK can be of enormous  help and support to you. The pain you may be feeling right now can seem almost unbearable at times but will be fully understood and felt by the people of all ages we have in our Group.  They offer a listening ear, friendly support and advice with comforting words on those lonely days and nights and will be there for you for as long as you need them.

This site uses two groups: the first is a free public Message Board and the second, also  free, gives membership to our Yahoo Group and is there for you to post and receive e-mail messages to and from other Group members. Because its free the first message board, Network54, uses advertising popups, so please just click on "Skip advert" in the top right hand corner if it appears. Both these groups know exactly how you are feeling and will help you through this heartbreaking time.

Many have left a beautiful dedication in our  Dreambook

Thank you to everyone who has left a dedication in our Dreambook.  But of course you will not get responded to using this book. So I have found a very simple message board that is as easy to use as the Dreambook. It’s completely free just like everything on this site.

Please post in there, it really could make all the difference to you and someone else.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream.  He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.  Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.  For each scene , he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.  When the last scene of his life flashed before him,  he looked back at the footprints in the sand.  He noticed that many times along the path of his life,  that there was only one set of footprints.  He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.  This really bothered him,  and he questioned the Lord about it.  " Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.  But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life, there is only one set of footprints.  I don't understand why,  when I needed you most you would leave me".  The Lord replied "My Son, My precious child. I Love You, and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you".
